Hey guys, chasing a set of Simmons fr 17-18, but want to know what i should expect to pay. On ebay they have FR19's for 2.8 with tyres etc, but i cant find any for commodore / holden pattern, and i don't want 19's cause i don't want defects.
I found a set of 17's which he sold for 1200.....
And have seen the FR18's going for 2k or so, depending on if they're polished or not
Basiclly i want to know what there "street" value is, what your average joe is willing to pay for used rims.

For $2,800 they'd have to be mint and have brand new tyres on them. FR18s are by far the toughest looking of the FR's

Re: Simmon FR17's Wheels
Sold them for $900 mate, I wanted a lot more but got ****ed around so much and needed to get rid of them
So basiclly, the wheels are worth as much as someone is willing to pay, who has a set laying around in a shed.

I sold my fr18s to a member on this site last week for $2800
On Ebay fr18s usually go for $2700+, $3200+ for fr19s & I have been noticing 17s go for around $1500 the last month

02-10-11, 15:34 GMT+10#13 check with the tmu about that defect rule mate, i believe that they got rid of the "only 2" bigger than stock" rule.
car will perform better on 17's or 18's anyway

05-10-11, 14:41 GMT+10#19 Would be interested to know also, But i believe the appeal from these rims are if you damage the dish, you can just replace or re roll the dish easier then you could a normal rim as it all comes apart? Right?
