Hey, building a vl for street and drags, hopefully mid 10sec passes. Rb30 with wade 1147c cam and gt3582r, should make around 300-350rwkw.. Question is what auto do you recommend me using and sized stall??? Auto will be fully manualised and transbraked which ever way I go.. Trimatic, jatco, powerglide, c4???? Keep in mind also I'm gonna try and get box and stall for around 3000 finished, but don't want a 1 pass gearbox...

If you want a gearbox that's gonna last with stall included, $3000 will not suffice.

I definitely agree, $3000 is no where near enough to build a tuff auto and stall also. Best bet to suit your budget, is to look for a second hand set-up. Your tuner should be able to help you out with choosing a converter to suit your set-up. Here's a good example of a trans at a bargain price. http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showth...ht=stall+price (http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?t=240662&highlight=stall+price)
