bought evening blue o,g sl turbo lw5 ms1 sl turbo sedan
bought it off my friends dad he has had it since 1990
car is pretty o,g although he has changed the exhaust
put a sidemount on boost controller and turbo timer
car came with all stock cross over pipe airbox etc so i will prob return to origonal
has origanal paint job from 1986 so as you could imagine its shot and worn through in places,the upside is it has no rust at all being a country car its whole life,body is straight few smaller carpark dents.
first up will be a respray im thinking ve dark green or black,or maybe og evening blue.what are your thoughts on changing paint coulor from og
has rebuilt motor and auto,rocker cover is painted black,i will be returning to wrinkle red.
car has momo star wheels and a ducktail style wing these parts have been on the car since previous owner purchased it in 1990 so im asuming that it came out with them but not sure as it is an sl.
still has tape deck which will be getting replaced with a cd player

picked it up cheap for $2000
after owning several vls this being my fifth vl turbo i wasnt going to get another as theyre getting on but i guess its just a passion that will never die.
will post up pics as the build moves along before and after shots of paint etc.
