Hello all iam new to the site but I have just bought a Nissan Patrol with a Injectored RB30 Turbo in it, My problems are at around 2500rpm its starts coming on boost but the motor starts pinging bad I got home last night after a drive for around 5kms and the exhurst manifold was glowing, It is running pink top Injectors and N/A ECU im thinking that is my trouble?? has anyone one got a turbo ECU and injectors for sale?
Other thing is its slow to build oil pressure what are this RB30 like for that do oil pumps let go?? Thanks

sounds like its running lean man, chase up a set of brown vlt injectors and turbo computer also check your timing, 10-15 degrees at idle

Yes on the site, scan the forsale section, should be around $150 but if it was me I'd buy an aftermarket Ecu so it can be tuned

Might be worth popping the lid on the ECU and seeing if it has been modified.
some ebay chiptunes are really bad for doing exactly what you explain.
Post a picture of the 28pin chip with the marking on the board at the end of it "IC4".
If it turns out to be one of many bad tunes out there I can fix it for you fairly easily.
