Iv just put a new motoer into a vl calais i couldent get it to run to start with so i bridged the 2 pink wires under the dash now it runs but wont rev. It idles at about 3 to 4 hundred revs (to low) and when i put the foot down it will rev to 1000rpms and starts to die wont rev past 1000rpms. Iv tryed new CAS dissy cap & rottor button, fuel pumps, fuel filter, checked for air leaks changed o2 sensor changed ECUs it seems to have plenty of fuel and spark W.T.F could it be? Any help will be appreciated thanks.

Might be your ACC valve or AFM. When idling. Remove either the AFM plug or the ACC valve plug & see if there's any difference.

what are these wires you bridged go to?

The wires i bridged were for the inobilizer they are on the ECU wiring loon. I can drive it but gets to 1000rpm and starts to die you can hear the air sucking through the air box its like its being starved of fuel or air im not sure.

besides the obvious ie plugs, leads, timing. as said air flow meter, i'd guess the wires/connection to the afm as most would know. or blocked catalytic converter
