YES!!! filter out the bonnet of bt1 guna look sik mate! love your decision to get away from turboing and wack a chunky v8 in there. will be interested to see this car progress just a quick question tho, if youve put those plates over the drip trays, what happens if you need to pull the motor and subframe out again, how do you get to the bolts??

Man everything looks so tight, except that velocity stack and air filter set up. Just get yourself a nice, compact slimline filter like the 'Gong boys use on their V8 VLs... so much nicer than the top hat set up

Its a pretty big setup, i reckon that hat looks good, its fair game going on that motor, rather than if someone got stock 308 an put one on. good stuff bro with the car Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

thanks boys appreciate it. have had mixed signals with the filter. going to see how it looks once the bonnet goes on. ill be going a slim one if it looks ****. but the come manfiold is so low a slim one will hardly sit out. once its all goin and had a bit of fun with it start the hunt for more power! more comp, twin carbs, huge solid rolla not keen on racing it just want to make lots of smoke ---------- Post added 26-09-11 at 11:38 ---------- Quote: Originally Posted by leb vlt [View Post] Rattle gun from underneath mate. Holy shiit, how is this only the first time ive seen the build. Fuuck yea! Sexy as mate, this thing is going to look jaw droppingly good. Cannot wait for it to be done. You peaked my interest when you said "going to the clean as fark look" lol. When i read that you took out the old 30T i was like, what is this bloke doing.. then i saw the 383, ah, now i see.
