Mates in brisbane, Problem car isn't selecting a gear! Who would you guys recommend browns plains way 2 look at this? Should he take the box out or just drop the car off?

can he get it in gear with engine off???
and not get it in gear with engine running and clutch in???
may be a input shaft siezed to spigot bush.
or is it hard to shift while driving???

He was going 1st to 2nd and when he slapped 2nd just nothing, says he has no gears at all, car running or turned off, has no sounds at all from clutch / gearbox when clutch is pushed in or out? Any shops u guys could recommend for him to take it to?

im taking a stab in the dark, but is the plastic bush still connected to the bottom of the gear stick??. mine used to pop off all the time
