OUT2ANIL8: My LS1 Torana is not affected by this purchase. The Hatch was a little too big of a project for me after all the headaches i've had with the LS1 conversion. I purposely wanted a Kingswood because they are the base model.
Its tagged as 253/Trimatic, the dealer the car was bought from fitted the 308/T400 in the mid 80's.
I'll send dan89 a PM and see what hes got, cheers!

I bought it, i didn't get home until midnight so maybe he wanted the cash?
The grille will be changing to HZ as that is all that you can buy new.
Some more pics including the original purchase documents etc.
New carby will be ordered next week! The one on it works fine but should be in a museum.

07-09-11, 22:29 GMT+10#13 i reckon its rad as. i'd sod the mudflaps off, dump it, widened stockies painted black, with the hub cap and chrome trim retained. tint, repair what little rust it has, win. maybe chuck a stezza in so you can get rid of the aerial too haha

WTF.
Just because it's a Torana doesn't automatically mean it's a "collectable" or rare, or expensive either.....
So many other factors to take into consideration.

14-09-11, 16:38 GMT+10#20 haha i got 4 cars, can't really be that pissed off. She absolutely loved the torana from the day she came and bought it with me nearly 5 years ago, so that will always be around. I've smashed almost 30k into it now to
the trade off of selling the vn and kingswood after so little time is that she gets off my back via being able to spend money on the house and i get to get back into burnouts
currently looking around at a few vn ss's and stuff around the 4k limit, gone are the days when you could get an average condition vt ls1 with native smelling interior for cheap
Its gay hey Bax but burnouts will prevail!
