I'm about to fit black silicone to My intercooler piping and I am buying it in a 1m length. How do you guys cut silicone neatly? Every time I have cut it with a razor, it turns out messy.. So is there a technique to it? Or am I just being too rough? Cheers, Locky. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I have to cut this stuff daily.. I use a ruler & mark spots an inch apart around the hose & then use a flexible ruler to mark out a line, then you have to cut it fairly quicky to avoid slicing massive gashes Another way is to put a cut in it about 2cm long, then put a hoseclamp on it nice and tight but not squeezing the hose too much with the wormdrive part lining up with the hole you cut. Then just cut around the band
