auto won't go in gear just put new one in HELP

probably not the best place to post this, try in the suspention/ gearbox section, but did u line the torque converter up properly so it spins the pump, also maybe provide more information like whats it doing specificly cos there are many reasons why it wont go into gear ranging from what i have previously mentiond all the way to checking if you have hands to correctly manipulate the selector,

I heard putting sand in at a 50:1 ratio with your gearbox fluid will help it grip the gears because of the grit. Beach sand will be fine.
