Did I just read 1/8th mile?? tell me its not true..

ANDRA have only allowed for 8th mile with the view to 1/4 later, reason being there is no concrete barrier on the track for 1/4 mile racing... think its not a question of how long the track is, we still need people thru the gates to ensure we get racing back there for the future....

1/8 mile racing is huge in the states... and when u think about it the doorslammers do around 200mph to the 1/8th... also food for thought is most high 8sec/ low 9sec vl turbos are doing 125 to 135mph to the 1/8th also... i think most of the excitement is in the launch and to half track... this wil b a huge event and im sure most of the adelaide car scene wil b there in attendance... dont knock this event, u have to remember something is better than nothing in adelaide!!!

I'll enter in this and am talking with a couple of interstate mates with VL's who Are very keen on coming down for this on the 26th.

yep thats the gay part, every thing will need to be andra teched and you will need to become a member and purchase a licence, not sure what to do?? with a 200 car limit im quessing that you will be lucky if you get 3 or 4 passes in,
