im just looking for expression of interest on a few things.
first of all do i sell my vl wagon?
second of all. would any one be interested if i did put it up for sale.
details :
holden vl commodore.
1988
rb30e
factory manual.
about 350.000 to 370.000kms ( cant quite remember)
people call it two tone its blue with silver calais lower door trim.
i have put calais pop up font on it. painted close to cars colour.
it has calais alloy 15" wheels on it at the moment.
i have done:
installed all electric windows with after market switches and factory
regulators.
installed super low dubi springs
drivers bucket seat
removed broken tail gate inertia trim and replaced with plie would and installed
speakers.
installed boost, water temp and oil pressure auto gauges on centre dash.
water temp works from aftermarket sender unit on top rad hose. boost also
works but doesnt boost as no turbo on there yet.
thats all i can remember at the moment.
things it comes with... now the list...
turbo exhaust manifold with external waste gate for sohc rb motor.
t70 turbo
intercooler piping
massive intercooler
38mm external waste gate
ssq blow off valve
interceptor rims ( no tyres or centre caps)
drivers factory seat and rails
4x vl sedan doors if wanted.
extra crome mouldings
disk brake diff and drive shaft hand brake cable
skid tyres / steelie rims
brand new alloy rb30e radiator still in the box.
loads of bits and pieces that i cant quite remember right this min...
as good as it gets there are bad points...
surface rust starting around windscreen.
somthing is up with power steering
tappits ticking away
thats all can remeber right now.
will try get wof and reg for it soon.
see how that goes.
looking for offers around $3500 or a reason to keep it and finish the turbo build.
thanks Jono

yeah what marty said, why do you want to sell it?

yeah very hard decision to sell it if i do.
the reason i want to sell it is because i have just spent a week away at the snow in my cuzzens fj40 with a 1uzfe in it and now i want to build my sj413 with a 1uzfe.
to be honest at the moment there is more work in the vl rather then the sj
very unsure of what to do

You have to work out what you would do more(snow up there)Baa humbug!Where I used to live we had snow 3 months of the year on the ground around us(I hate it)But it is totaly up to you and what you want to do.

Personally I wouldnt sell either of my VL's, but to be honest if your on the fence about keeping it you've probably already lost the enthusiasm for it...

You are correct there! My wife certainly was not happy when I sold HER car,Maby I should of told her it was on trade me.I still get it in the ear from her.Hence that is why she has a Sandman Van now.
