looking at upgrading my turbo etc on the rb25det when i get the vl licensed. currently im running a bosch 044 external pump in factory external pump position. im also using the standard pick up pump for now. how much will this setup hold. im looking at getting 740cc injectors and running a either a gt30 or a hypergear atr43g3. would i need to change the pick up pump if so what pump would be best and is it easy to install. i really want to try and steer away from a surge due to being a street car
Run an undercar surge tank from someone like JD's..
Your issue is the 044 could outstrip the in tank pump. I officially have nfi at what level this would happen. Every car we have even started getting a bit serious with has moved to atleast a small surge setup. When you have a surge it gives the smaller intank low pressure pump time to fill the surge as you not always giving it 100% throttle. That way when your on the gas for anything up to 15 secs there is no way you will run the surge dry.
If you really didn't want to run a surge setup you could look at using an internal style pump like a Walbro or one of the new Aeromotive pumps. 300lp/h capable pumps and shouldn't be too much drama to fit. You just may need to be careful when fuel levels in the tank are low.
yeah by the sounds of things the under car would be my best option. i will just have to get a auto elecy to wire the bosch 044 in correctly with the relay etc.
You can probably get a kit off eBay for **** all. The instructions to wire it would be pretty straight forward.

wiring is not my feild haha im good and the mechanical side of things but wiring i will not touch not confident enough is brightline still around i like their style of surge tank over the jd i also found one on ebay from BTR performance but it does not look like it gets tucked away very well and could hit the ground if car is to low
