Hey guys I have a problem I just recently replaced my clutch with a button clutch since I replaced it every nown and then I can hear a noise coming from the bell housing area which sounds like clutch rubbing on flywheel. Is this just it bedding in or is it a problem oh and sometimes when it's not rubbing I can smell burning clutch however the old clutch I did burn out

Did you grease the spigot bush. Also did you run in your clutch.

Not sure I can't remember and I have only driven about 100 kms since install

thrust bearing noise?

doe not sound like thrust bearing however it could be ill just see how i go for now

ok guys seems as though its my thrust bearing it has gotten worse however the clutch smell has gone clutch doesnt slip vibrate etc. my mate s a mechanic and he said it sounds like thrust however it seems to be more constant now and when i put foot on clutch is gets a little louder. so id say its either thrust or spigot.

Ok guys the smell is back only seems to be when car warns up what could this be it's doing my head in trying to work out what it is

pull the gearbox out, and see if the spigot is f*cked.

yeah will do but how can the spigot be causing the clutch smell now it is a button clutch so maybe iam slipping it
