Im about to buy some Whiteline sway bars for my VL Calais. Im going 22mm adjustable rear sway bar, my question and the choice I have to make is weather to use a 30mm non adjustable front sway bar or a 27mm adjustable one. I would like to hear from others who have used Whiteline sway bars in their VL's and other Commodores what their experience and recomendations are.

My Calais already has Pedders Sports Ryder shocks and springs all round, adj panhard rod and VT brake upgrade with braided lines and VT booster and master. Car is ready for sway bars because all thats is really holding its handling ability back now is the massive body roll the VL's seem to come stock with.

22mm rear bar is too big. Just keep the factory rear bar and fit urathane bushes
As for the front it's probably worth going for the adjustable one so you can get the best fit for you and your car

with the 22mm adj rear bar u can adjust for stock setings if it is to stiff.iv got a 30mm on front and ar also wondering if i should swap it out for a adj 27mm.my car is on super lows with kyb shortend shocks and adj panhard rod. im also looking at geting adj strut tops like the old noltec solid ones. that should bring back some of the handeling that was lost when the car was lowerd. im also geting a adj strut brace in the next couple of days

got a whiteline 20mm on the rear and 28 (from memory) on the front plus a strut brace, Kings SL's and pedders sports all round. While the car is massively better all round it did develop under steer because, i think, that the front wound up becoming too stiff. This was sorted by adjustable strut tops and castor rods. A bit of positive castor and negative camber has made the "turn in" much better. The 20mm bar in the rear is fine, probably wouldn't want much more. But with the original bar, the car car seemed to kick up the inside rear on slow to medium corners.
I guess what i'm trying to suggest is that if you go too stiff, particularly in the front, you may get under steer and find yourself going straight ahead when you've got the wheel turned. Anyways that's just my experience.
