posted by corsa>>>>>>>>>>> I would have said that your mate owns the copy according to HSV anyway. Build CC 003 - Turbo Auto - Maranello Red. Just because the blue ones supposeably went overseas doesn't mean that they didn't come back. The first Two HDT VL Directors went overseas and they are both back in the country. Yes i know the owner. The car is SV CC #003 as documented in the early HSV book although it is not the car pictured in the book. SV CC #003 was used for the photoshoot last year showing the 5 HSV VL models and variants. It is a mid 87 built car from GMH and plated by HSV mid 88. SV CC #004 is also documented (red 3L N/A) but remains not found although SV CC #006 and #007 have both been found and are also both red turbos, one of which was advertised for sale a couple of years back for the same price as this one. Total number of SV CC's built is unknown as I have also come accross SV CC #014 and #016 which are VN-VQ models. I believe i also know what SV CC #001 and #002 were although i doubt they will ever surface. The SV CC's would have to be the most interesting models of all the HSV's over the years as they are all unique and contain special features sometimes not available on ordinary production models. What do you think CC #001 and #002 were? I'm interested now.
