Answer needed?

Hi would any1 know the answer of is a vl 88 build a s1 or s2 motor if you have the answer it would be a great help cheers

not being a smartass but considering that 88 was the last of the builds it is pretty obvious

Obvious unless somebody has changed the engines. For all we know it may have had a engine swap with a 3 cylinder charade. I'd be checking the number of pipes coming out of the head. If it's more than 3 it probably isn't a charade motor. Seriously though^ should be a Series 2. If in doubt though check the tech articles for the differences between Series 1 and 2 engines. Then see if you've got the bungs in the side of the block.

my 86 has a series 2, easily can be changed so... but i dont see why you would swap back to series 1 ha.
