Thanks Grunter, yeah im using JPC, SMC, T04Z, and a 5spd, with a twin plate, 1000cc injectors, etc. BUT, now is the time to buy a cooler, and i was in debate whether to go 76 with the curved tanks, or 100mm with the curved tanks.

My intercooler, 76mm thick & air conditioning canister. (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/10/sdc10367e.jpg/) ohh their's about a half mm gap aswell. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Can that canister be moved at all? Say if some new pipe was bent up/joined to it?

Would a bar & plate intercooler hamper the flow of air to the radiator making the car run abit hotter. Just trying to figure out why my car is running hotter than it used to. The only things I've changed are the tube & fin intercooler to a bar & plate, also port & flow the head. Ohh it also has a adjustable cam gear.

Iv got a 700 by 100 and just moved the canister and repiped it as mentioned earlier. Cooler just misses the 2 bolt heads on the bumper stays. Cheers

Thinking of upgrading my gktech intercooler, what do people recommend? I am leaning towards Garret intercooler but not sure if l should go with bar and plate or tube or fin? Cheers

I am currently making end tanks with internal diffusers for a complete custom intercooler which is 600 wide, 240 high and 122 deep. Tube and fin construction. The car has no aircon and I am using the addition depth to make up for the lack of height to keep it above the bumper. I will hopefully have the completed pics up on the Red Star Fabrications thread this weekend.
