Hi all,
I'm an apprentice chef and work into late hours of the night when public transport, is not operating, i turn 18 next February and was wondering is there a chance i would be able to seek permission from VIC ROADS to obtain work lisence where i am able to obtain my P's before my 18th considering i will have restrictions to my license, i have already complete my 120 hours a long time ago and believe i am a quite competent driver, is there a possibility i can do this ?????
cheers folks.

08-08-11, 15:00 GMT+10#11 If you "live" in another state like sa, you can get your p's.. Then if you came back to melb, you have your lisence.

08-08-11, 16:27 GMT+10#12 so all i have to do is prove residency in another state, i have family in wa and nsw so that may be an option, but i was sure you where able to by pass the age limit if you have substantial reasoning for obtaining your license early ?

08-08-11, 18:12 GMT+10#13 You can only use a licence from another state interstate for 3 months before having to change it. Ive heard of police going to a lot of effort to prove the point if you get caught.. even checking with the ATO to see where your income comes from etc etc
