hi all, just a question relating to summernats.......do you feel its still mostly V8 dominated? i mean, i went from 1999 to 2003, and no doubt things have changed in many ways, including the event management, but i'd like to hear your thoughts.

i would say yes, it is a very Aussie event, the people, cars etc so there is going to be V8s aswell.
but there are also alot of turbo 4s and 6s in the mix.
mines an N/A 6 but im still gunna go and have some fun

yeh but thats exactly the attitude that their trying to remove from summernats. thats why it wasnt as big the year just gone with less night events. An im pretty sure they didnt even have the city cruise. Because their trying to clean it up make it more of a family and enthusiast event.

That's the cop out they keep using. If they were seriously interested in making it a family friendly event then there would be no alcohol.
When I went there it was nothing but paraletic drunks all over peoples cars and trying to feel up every chick in sight.
