hey guys, check this out.. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/VL-CALAIS...#ht_500wt_1156 (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/VL-CALAIS-HEADLIGHT-LENSES-L-R-NOS-/230652149106?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item35b3f07d72#ht_500wt_1156) What a joke. Do these people actually thing anyone will seriously fork up the $500 for JUST lenses? I'm sure anyone with a HDT would even source cheaper lenses to replace..

Unreal LOL. You can buy the whole thing from rare spares for $94. http://www.rarespares.net.au/rarespa...S+%2 6+LENSES (http://www.rarespares.net.au/rarespares/SearchPage.aspx?type=partsfinder&pno=0&brand=HOLDEN&model=VL+COMMODORE&car=17L&productgroup=LAMPS+%26+LENSES) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I paid $300 for mine from recollection a few years back. That's for two lenses NOS. If you want to go aftermarket. Go for it. I'd prefer the original ones with the Holden logo for my HDT resto any day.

They're still not worth $500 no matter what anyone says. 2nd hand ones will come up like new when restored. i would pay no more than 250 for a genuine set. give kasman88 a break.. it is a completely valid point he is making.

haha yeah i would only pay what i said if it was for a completely mint restoration that would sit in the garage for it's whole life. $500 is just ridiculous and to be honest i would be both embarrassed and ashamed if i had a set and was asking that much for them.
