Afm trouble

Hey guys having afm troulble car runs like a dog with it pluged in then runs good when plug is out ive used 3 afms and does the same could it be the plug it self?

yea is say you've got a squashed wire or its not fully shielded and its touching another in the plug if you,ve tried 3 afm's.

Actually it should be the opposite. The car should run ruff with the AFM unplugged. Maybe when you connect it something else might be making it run sick. (Ie. cranks angle sensor.) Run a diagnostic check to see what faults you have & we'll cancel the ones out. What ever codes are left could be the cause to your problems. If you have a multimeter. If it helps I could run a grab my book with the how many ohm's to what colour wires on the AFM plug.

With the afm pluged in it on revs to 2 grand and revs out when afm is plugged in it back fires when you rev.
