hey there guys. we have completely stripped one of my parts cars except for the diff.
now we are going to slice it up but what is worth keeping? it is a hr wagon.
we need the sils and rear 1/4's especially the lower sections of the 1/4 and the gargo area window valances.
i will upload pics tomorrow but the floor is gone, the roof is clean but a hell of an effort to get off and then we would have to sell it. rear end sil or the area underneath the tailgate is fine aswell.
any ideas? like i said rear 1/4s and sils will be for personal use and we are thinking of throwing up the dash in our shed with some spare instruments and bits and pieces as a cool ornament

What do you want to keep them for Mitch?
If you're looking for things to sell from it think about the chromework, light surrounds, grille, dash etc.
If you're just wanting to keep things to display... keep whatever you think looks cool.

sorry about last nights message, my brain was a bit fried when i wrote it and it probably doesn't make a heap of sense.
all the bits are off of it. we will have to sort through what we need and don't. we have 3 hr wagons and want 2 cars worth of parts. the question is mainly about the shell. what sections are worth cutting... heres some pics of what we need (for my prem wagon which has heaps of rust but being a prem is going to be the resto shell.)
so on the seide we need the cargo window valance (green) as ours is rusted out and this one is fine. we need the rear 1/4 bottow which is relatively good shape (in red) we need the inner and outer sil and that front corner section of the subframe / firewall which is in yellow.
from the rear we need the tailgate rubber holder inners from the sides as they are good and they can be repositioned into the lower section of the prem which like this beige special is rusted out. (sides in green)
the red bit which i'm going to call the rear sil (no idea of name) is good though we don't need it. the front window which was marked in orange in pic 1 is also v good but we dont need it (this includes the front vents area) the roof is also good.
the floors front and back are rat$hit lol the fronts have had a metal plate wedged in then fibreglassed over....
so the question is: is it worth keeping any of the decent areas we don't need for sale or just scrap? any market in these bits? also the tranny tunnel is manual so no use for anyone (i think people use auto ones for glide / t700 conversions?)
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I wouldn't imagine it would be worth keeping anything off it once you have what you need. Once you've cut it up it's pretty well ****ed.

yeah i think we have pretty much everything we want covered and i couldn't see anyone requiring the leftover cuts as they aren't common rust poiunts. just thought i'd check as i'm not really that familiar with chrome bumpers when it comes to repair work and parts markets.
