I’ve currently got a R33 GTS-T and while its a nice car ive always wanted a GTR, mainly for the AWD. Ive been thinking of getting my current car resprayed in the GTR midnight purple, but for a little more i can pick up a R32 GTR shell, and spend the money respraying that. Anyone on here own a R32 GTR? Does the shape and dash grow on you? Should i ‘upgrade’? I need the car as a daily driver - Lose my licence on Monday for 6 months so ive got plenty of time to fix either car

R32 GTR, absolute pocket rockets with huge amounts of grip! You cant really compare a GTST to a GTR.

As per TURBZ post. Be prepared to fork out the dollars if you go the GTR route. You say you can purchase a shell. Do you intend to put something other than the 26 in there or are you building one/already have one?

My gtr spun a big end, 13k later it had a forged bottom end.. bloody expensive are the rb26 parts. But man, the best all round car I have ever driven, would munch almost anything on the street with 9k limiter launches (hence big end lol), stuck like **** to a blanket and sounded fat. Can't go wrong with a gtr, just make sure you have the money to fix it if something goes wrong because it's almost always going to be expensive!

^ Yep. I've spent a bit over 12k in the last 10 months just on repairs.. The launches are insane, feels like your face is getting ripped off and gives you a sore neck Lol.. I took a friend that has a well set up 280kw ma70 supra out the back of the hills last weekend and did a few launches.. his exact words where 'man my neck hurts.. when you launched everything goes blurry lol' They are money pits but there's not much that comes close to the amount of grip they have on the street and feels exactly the same as if you're driving a gokart in corners.
