i cant search anything, i read to use less words or less common words, but what im trying to search ISNT uncommon, whats the point of having a search option if its not going to work on some subjects?

Yeah the problem is that it doesn't work if search terms are TOO common as well. I am finding it quite frustrating to be quite honest

I wrote this up in a newsletter a few years back... Should help make the search more useful to you How to search on Calaisturbo.com.au Recently quite a few people have been telling the moderators that they get an error when searching so I thought I would show you the best way to search on CT. Step 1. Click search on the top bar Step 2. Type in what you want to search for. Try not to use words that are used all the time on CT. For example: VL, Calais, turbo, AFM, CAS, ECU etc. Step 3. In the right hand box, select the subsection of CT that you want to search. By selecting for example the 'Engines, Turbos, Exhausts & Intercoolers' section and searching for the keywords 'cas problems' the results displayed will be much more relevant than just a general search on the search bar (as shown below). Searching this way will save you time by getting the info quicker and avoids us telling you to go learn how to search! Hopefully this will help some of you out... Is that all the info you know about it? And you're 100% sure on those details? Slight pain that you can't search for short words. I went searching in the Cars FS section, for posts containing Minispool - sorted by thread start date. The more info you know about what was in the description the easier the search would be.

Clear your cookies and try again... But yeah, adding terms that you know are very common will fail, don't do it too often or you will break the internet... ---------- Post added 20-07-11 at 09:42 ---------- Is it better? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
