Get a proboost gt42 they are around $1000 to 1100 and real good id use one anyday

would be interesting to see how good they are, due to the fact, all different chinese factories, have different qulaity control. As we all know, Honeywell Garrett now manufactures in china, so, if you get it right, you might have a good product.

alot of guys in the states use them with good results. google it, mustang forums have wars over them against the big brand guys.

Where can you buy these Proboost GT42 turbo's?? Looked on Proboost website & there's only the GT45.

i can get these turbos also and i was looking at getting them to sell... most of the gear i can get is the same as his besides my engine parts... and like DA HOON has said they actually perform great, i can sell these for $500 each to people and the gt45s for $600 all brand new!

Yea as far as i no proboost ones are made to his specs ive see a few china turbo s nothing like proboost ones need grant to get on here and reply to this thread

grants to4z and gt42 copys are his own style but are made in china i have run both his turbos on my cars never find a fault at all now having said all this it only takes one of his manafacturing plants to side sell what grant is ordiring ?

yeh i must agree ,i have had good results with grants turbos also ,and many different chinese companies are now trying to copy his turbos ,so it can be risky.

Its not risky just buy of grant (proboost) to be safe and get a good product

IMO I wouldn't trust anything made in China that has to spin at or over 100,000rpm. There are exceptions though like the china turbos that have been properly rebuilt and balanced before being sold. You might save a few dollars in the short term but how much is a new engine going to set you back when the turbo feeds it her compressor blades. yumm yumm. Honestly stick with Garrett, they use them as OEM turbos for a reason... Good luck mate
