Hey everyone, Finally going to pull my finger out and build my rb30, and was curious to find out if anyone has any input about the rb32 and rb34 stroker kits available now and what sort of gains you get instead of standard rb30 build. Was also wondering what hidden procedures if any there are with building the strokers.

they are alot of money in my opinion, as you will never use all the power the standard stroke will give you unless you have a full pro turbo drag car...

I thought chances are it will rev less and the torque curve will probably change significantly and the single cam head would not be able to flow enough to make sure of the extra cubes. If your keen on a 3.4litre RB you'd be better off going a XR6T engine really - cheaper with just as much potential.

How much are they worth?? I'm pretty keen on the rb34 but if it isn't justifiable then I'll just build the standard rb 30

Are you wanting to go twincam LUVBST of single cam?

U love it Mick I was going to keep the xr6t standard for a bit I'm thinking ---------- Post added 17-07-11 at 18:52 ---------- Quote: Originally Posted by grunter01 [View Post] that is true MORGZ as thats what limits the standard stroke also thats why they so to the twin cam.... Are you wanting to go twincam LUVBST of single cam? Well yeah my main concern was the flowing capabilities of the single cam to match the stroker kit but there's enough big powered cars with proven times that the single cam is still viable?? I really want to stay single cam to keep it more like a vl and I love the sound of them Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

more cubes would make it fun for street duties - but ultimately it's not like your standard rb30 is short for cubes to run fast times anyway - and a 9 is easily done on a 3ltr bottom end.

Yeah I guess there is enough r and d in the 30 bottom ends to run consistent low 10's on pump fuel might stick with that

Would a stroker kit increase the chance of detonation??
