hey all, this is my vl calais that im using for my project build up. i found this on carsales awhile back, the owner said it was sold due to deposit taken but me being me likes to think its still for sale, so i left my details with the owner at the time and told him to contact me if it falls threw. afew days later i received a msg saying it had fallen threw so i went and had a look at it... she looked alittle rough but for a base to start with it was perfect. that weekend i picked it up and drove it home, drove perfect and handled great so i thought id drive it for abit BUT the simmons had to go. i sold them the next day for a good price and found me a set of polished calais wheels cheap. looks the goods then found afew other bits and venetian for the rear window. now its sitting in my garage waiting for the next phase future plans have changed for short term, as i was and still am planning on lq9 with 80mm s480 conversion but with a wedding and saving for a house its going to be using my old inj 304 and purchasing a 71mm s400, th400 and cruise it. things that need to be done.. -fix up rust -redo paint (will be done at a later date) -get a set of chrome strips -redo badges -lower it -fix pop ups as they dont work -new power windows and central locks -setup fuel system -change k frame and steering rack rest will be done to suit eventually as money comes... Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

cheers mate. ls1 wont take what i want, strongly advised on not having an alloy block lol lq9 is 6L stock and cast iron block. 700fwhp is the safe limit for a ls1 with what its going to be used for, cast iron will be good til 1000fwhp. 5L with a 71mm should be fun enough on the street Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
