[email removed] Description For Sale I am advertising my much loved 1988 vl berlina turbo due to work obligations. This is a very regrettable sale as most of my younger days were spent under the bonnet of this car. I purchased her back in 2003 as the third owner of the vehicle and my first car. She was stock as a rock when purchased, but as the story goes things changed along the way. The most power it ever made was 305kw @18.5psi (optimax JPC dyno) Has done 4 quarter mile passes, all on 225x15 street tyres with the best of 12.00@ 126mph. The car was never built to be a street racer, but more for the hobby of just building it. Oil changes of only penrite hpr30 are done every 2500km and I have only ever ran optimax through her since purchase. The car was lucky enough to be featured in Street Commodores magazine Issue 152 street sleepers. Over the past 2years she has been sitting in storage (getting driven once a week) under a car cover waiting for me to have the time to give her some much needed attention of clutch change over. But the spare time wont be coming anytime soon. Update: Just had full major service and all valve stem seals replaced last week. Was advised by my mechanic from dynomotive the engine is in good condition and has great compression. (As it should be, for the amount of k's done) As she sits now, all that needed is a good clutch and a tune and you have yourself a low 11/high 10sec streeter. Asking price is now $17,500 as was previously blowing a little smoke on startup and was unconfirmed if it was turbo,seals or something else. As discussed to all persons who viewed the vehicle.
