my 5 litre idles (high how ever u spell it) any tips on how to fix it

could be a manifold or vac leak, booster diaphram could be cracked... could be alot of things Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

get a can of carby cleaner or similar and spray it all around the manifold, hoses ,ect and see if the idle changes.

Dose it run rich? Then check/replace the vac line to your MAP sensor, easy job and whilst your doing that change the breather/vac on the fuel regulator as those two hoses get old hard and brittle running through the manifold
