Lock it up in a garage if you have it and get another car to park it in Don't park it in hot spots Take the coil lead off when you park it Install a good alarm Invest in a daily

You can also pull the fuel pump fuse and put in your wallet, same as the coil lead. Kill swtich You cant afford a modified car unless you can afford a good alarm and imobolizer in it Rig up a thick guage steel hook with a chain welded to it locked around the steering wheel.. just a deterent. It saved my uncles SS from being stolen. Bit extreme, but you can turn the wheels to full lock and 'click' the steering wheel on to make it harder to get on a flat bed

I know companies such as http://www.gotrack.com.au/ offer gps tracking, starts around $399 i think, which isn't bad if you ask me.

VLT's have been stolen in large numbers since the day they were produced modified VLT's are like candy to a car thief, lots of easy to sell parts and bling that he can make $ from. sleeper is always the best look for so many reasons GPS, trackers, alarms etc will not stop a VLT from being stolen, they may help with the recovery but the car may still be damaged/burnt out or stripped datadot, well if you want to possibly find your car piece by piece that may be a help but what a waste of $ the fact is that if you set your car up to get attention then you will likely get attention from car theives too best insurance against theft is full comprehensive insurance

That's nothing unusual , VL's were getting stolen all the time since I can remember , as far back as 1996 I can recall.
