Hi I am about to install a new alarm system in the calais, want to get rid of all the old crud thats hanging around under the dash Just want a bit of advise on whats what, & maybe if someone has a wiring diagram off my style of alarm system as one I have found is for the single plug setup. I am guessing this is the factory alarm box, I need a pinout to figure out the door wiring bonnet wiring. What does this box here do? This is the cruise control module? Fun! Im going to start chopping a whole heap out just want to figure out the door & bonnet switches before I go nuts. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

That looks like a nightmare. My problem is i removed my old security unit and now have wires that i dont need just hanging under the dash but i dont know which can be cut and which have to stay. I hate working on this kind of stuff. Put up some pics of how you wire up the doors if you can. im looking at doing the same thing. that black box i think stays and your auto unit should be a goldy coloured metal box near the light dimmer switch near where your right knee would be while seated. it should say AT1 i think..

Looks bad but my tin snips will do some talking soon & will look a million bucks. I am aftermarket ecu so most of this stuff is junk, I am just going to cut all the alarm stuff out & do a fresh install. Just want to know what wires the door switches are & what the central locking hooks up too.
