Called a fun day, they have em every couple of months up there. Bacially 30 min sessions. They have singles and passenger sessions. Have to take Long sleeves shirt and pants and helmet with approved sticker on it. Make sure nothing is loose on your car ie battery etc etc. $35 per driver and $35 to take passenger. Some people go out and gave a fair crack others just cruise around and give it an occasional stab. Good fun layback day! Gets rid of the urge to do it on the street and have the cops take it for a month!

Do they hold these every 2,3,4 months ?, are they always put up on their website ? They sound like a good day, if only calder held days like this and only charged this amount, people would be spilling out the gates to get in....flops!

They dont advertise the fact that they are on much anymore because they are getting pretty popular. Usually pretty busy track in the morning sessions but by the afternoon when people are running out of fuel or broken things you might only have 20 cars in a session. really good value for money. Tab good stuff! nice to see that pretty car of yours gets used! Looking forward to it ramma

Looking forward to it ramma haha no point having a car and letting sit in the garage for good looks,lol, we got a few cars traveling up to together, we are gona tow our cars up on trailers. we will be meeting up in campbellfield around 5:00am on saturday morning so we can travel up together, let me know if you wanted to meet there and travel with us, pm me your number if u want. anyone one else want to meet there is also welcome, pm me and i will give you more details. My folks live in Mansfield mate so will be going up on the friday night. We got a good little group of cars going. 2 vlt's an xe esp with a hot 351, series 4 rx7 with you guys coming too will be an interesting day i reakon! Should think about booking some accomodation in benalla on the saturday night and going out for a few beers!

For those coming up this weekend, when you get to winton and go through the main gates turn right and head down into the pits area. There is an undercover pavillion/scrutineering bay kinda at the top of the pit area where the entrance to the track is. This is where you go to get entry forms, pay etc etc. You will then have to bring car back to get checked over and a sticker put on it saying all is good. Morning sessions are usually pretty busy so dont stress too much if your running late or anything, by the afternoon you will get plenty of track time. i take it they dont have a supply of fuel at the track? ifnot is benella the closest place to get 98 ?

they do have fuel out There, think its 98 and 100 octane plus avgas. Best bet is get in benalla though cause its expensive out at the track!

ah nice, i may bring a couple of vl's aswell
