Anyone know of any vl sedans with a decent suspension setup goin around? Looking for something nice n stiff all round.
The setup i have at the moment isnt to bad, rear shocks need replacing so looking for a decent shocker, maybe even thinking of some sway bars to help with the body roll.

KYB shocks
King springs
SuperPro bushes
Whiteline Plus adjustable radius rods
KMac or Wilkinson Supension strut tops
Whiteline sway bar (front only)
Or just get KYB shocks first up.

Yeah that sounds like a pretty good setup. Probably the best overall value for performance as well

As above, you can get a decent stiff and lowered road installed for around $1500.

Leave the rear sway bar as standard?

I think he mean you buy the springs, shocks, bushes, swaybar etc and take them somewhere to get fitted/aligned and it should cost $1500.
Or let them supply it too.

22-06-11, 19:32 GMT+10#12 KYB have the same front insert for std/lowered but a shorter rear shock for lowered cars to keep the spring captive. Those two part numbers are correct, I just bought some myself today actually!
With the Pedders Sports ryder ones, GSR9750/9705 are for std/lowered applications - unsure which one is which though.
Rear lowered ones are 9194.

22-06-11, 21:07 GMT+10#14 Hey there is a guy on ebay who sells a lowered suspension package for a vl. from memory kyb shortened shocks front and rear with king springs in superlow, ultra low etc. springs are painted black and labelled a different brand but are actually king springs. I'll put up a link when i find it. was about $600 - $700. then buy the superpro complete bush kit for $405 buy it now and then get strut tops and front whiteline swaybar or similar.

02-07-11, 03:03 GMT+10#15 The hieght im at now is good enough theres to many speed bumps around my area to go any lower.
So there are actualy vls that can use a drift/simular setup without converting to coilys?
