have a set of 18" WH grange wheels, genuine hsv, just trying to put them on my vl turbo which has disk brakes all round, they bolt onto the front no hassle, just misses the strut tower by abut a 1mm but the bearing cover pushes the centre cap out, and im in the process of purchasing 19" vy gts rims, im going to get them with 235/35 just so i miss that strut tower but how do i get around the bearing cover? can you just dent it in a bit or will that damage it??

Forget about spacer's dude, just tap the bearing cover down a bit until the centre caps clear or grind off some plastic off the rear of the centre cap. Or worse case, just don't fit the bearing/dust cover at all. Some will disagree but its a better option than using a spacer.

Spacers on the front are dodgy

alright sweet thanks guys, tried tapping in the bearing cover, still no luck, will just have to try taking a bit off the centre cap, but if all else fails then what?

I have done this. All you need to do is cut a little bit out of the back of the badge, just be careful! I used a soldering iron to melt out a hole, but I'm sure you could use a drill if you were careful enough. The centre caps are a domed design; they look like this side on: (| So long as you attack the flat back side with care, you wont damage the actual badge. It's a piece of pi55 to do and way cheaper and safer than spacers!
