Just wondering if there was anyway to make the auto shift sooner. At the moment my auto is shifting out of 1st when pegged at about 6500, WAY too high and way outa the power range. Id like to be able to bring it down, but not sure how? The only way i can do it at the moment is to completely back off and wait for it to change. Thanks, Brett _____________

Check the vacuum line that goes to the vacuum modulator on the transmission. Make sure it isn't leaking. Also check the fluid level while You're at it.

as Tuxedo said check the hose that is connected to the modulator probably splitted causing your shift points going crazy, that controls your shifts points! Happened to me and l replaced the 90 degress hose, all good now. *Tuxedo VL specialist* - loving your helpful feedback mate.
