just wanting to know if anyone has done it before and is it easy to do? i get my new 5 speed vl soon and wanna do something different with the interior, have a vn centre console with 5 speed gearboot/surround so i wouldnt mind trying something different.

Not my thing personally but I think that lenght and width wise shouldnt be far off however you might have issues getting it to look nice where it meets the dash/stereo surround. Also id assume that the mounts will be in the wrong place so a bracket may need to be made to suit so far as handbrake is concerned I wouldnt knoe thats something that youll just have to try and see . Id just give it ago if I were you and post up pics ect. Let us know how you go

Were the console meets the surroundings, it wount make the length because the VN's dash/surroundings come out further then the VL's
