Ok I've done a search and got a lot of conflicting info I need a definite answer, preferably from someone who has done it or knows for certain. My question is when fitting pacemaker 5600 or 5700 extractors into a Vl with 304 do they fit with the Vl power steering rack or do you have to swap to the later vn-vs power steering rack. Thanks in advance

Hsv headers fit. There's a special pacemaker header from memory best to hit the website as it tells you!

Thanks in advance you will defenetly need to put in a vn rack if your going pacemeker, the vl rack lines face the exhaust as the vn face away, i'm running vn rack in my vl walkie with pacemaker 5700 with no problem.

I had to change to a vn rack for mine to clear this is what im using. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/HEADERS-E...em 335efb463c (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/HEADERS-EXTRACTORS-5L-EFI-V8-VL-VN-VP-VR-COMMODORE-/220636857916?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item335efb463c) Can tell with the older vl rack and the newer vn rack. those pipes on the vl one got in my way. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I have Done an EFI conversion on a VL with Pacemakers Try Y headers. Pacemaker do no actually make Try Y's specifically for a VL EFI 304 conversion. I dont know why. They supplied me the VK EFI 304 headers, which did not have clearance against the original VL PS rack. One pipe had to be 'massaged' to give some clearance. They would have fit without modification with a manual rack.
