ive been talking to a guy about a rebuilt rb30 on here with The motor itself has oringed block, larry perkins racing forged pistons, new stock rods, balanced crank. what in ur opionion will this be capable of handling power/boost wise??

the rods will be the weakest point.

About as much as any engine, depending on fueling and tune. I'd stick with a standard bottom end n/a engine over someone elses 'basic' attempted tuff build.

"it's all in the tune" stock rods are good for 300-350rwkw I believe? as above, I don't see the point in putting forged pistons on standard rods, if You're going to do it, do it all. ie. pistons, rods, mains studs etc.

a stock NA RB30 will have the same break point as that motor. IF the tune is good.
