I recently posted in the wanted to buy thread a car DVD player I revived a message of a guy that he has 1 after 3 days of finding out of I trust him input 500 cash in to his account it's been 3 weeks and have revived nothing! What is his username? Did he have any feedback?

I think I was also contacted by this guy last week, I had a wanted ad also, for a hi-rise manifold and plenum. He had exactly what i was after with photo's and everything. He was happy to send the items straight away, and wanted me to put the cash into his account. I asked him if he would do C.O.D and he said that the company he use's wont allow it, and refused to use Aust Post. Then I was sus on him and said i'd pick it up, as I'm currently up here for work, and his story changed and apparently he work's in the mines and wouldn't be around,and said he would send it that day, as he had to go back to the mines. So he offered me to deposit half and half on delivery. The price etc was just too good to be true. I even offered to pick it up a friend or something of his, then he apparently has no friends or family there, so just build up to being way too sus. Nah not 100% if that's his address I just had a phone call from another user who got interior of him pay him and didn't recive anything..... If any1 misses or family friend works at st George bank that can find out info please let me Know I'll pay good money to find him/her No I do not no his username

Go into the St george , and ask if they can do a charge bank on the persons account. Otherwise, ring the cops.

This is why the for sale section shouldn't be available to viewers, should only be able to access it when registered or better yet a few months after registration.

yeah there should be restrictions on selling for sure, would drive out so many scum scamming ****ers

sorry but you don't know his user name, if he/she even has one, and you trusted him/her enough to deposit $500 based on an account number and potentially completely false name and address i feel for you but you should have been much more cautious contact your local police, it's nothing to do with this site

I won't do any money transactions unless it's PayPal or cash in hand. There's allot of scammers out there. Buyers beware. PayPal isn't that hard to set up & if they really want the money or business they would support it. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

This blokE almost did me 5k. Rb2630 motor full forged built by trp rigoli... I did my research he said he was a friend of dom from trp and he can verify he built it I called trp they never heard of him, so the scammer called trp and said can u just tell him u built it, and Dom blasted him and said get ****ed. I told him I'll drive up to Sydney and pick it up and he said he was way too busy.

yah, sad but his a scamming **** - seems like his doing a good job of it too. i got done for $300 odd bucks for a kit that never rocked up, pretty much wrote that as a lost when i didn't see anything after 2 weeks. same name, same details.. i never ever buy without some sort of guarantee but thought i'd give him the benefit of the doubt this time round. he made up some pretty good excuses until the ride went on for a couple of weeks. i don't wish anything bad on anyone, but i hope you get hit by a truck. in any case, if you have listed your number for a purchase/wanted add - and get some bloke from tweed heads saying he has this and that, be warned. cheers _pete

he ****in got me too, gave him deposit for interior, phones off now. didnt trust him to give him full amount so gave him an incentive. i googled his phone number and it brought me back here in this thread... ive got same bank acc details, name and address. it only costs 80 bucks or so to fly to queensland doesnt it? ---------- Post added 28-05-11 at 21:19 ---------- surely the bank can re-transfer money back over to my acc and deal with red tape, **** this ****, he cant be too hard to find... having the same phone number and account details surely leads back to a fixed address

So what ended up happening? Did this piece of **** get caught? I'm only asking as he scammed me as well
