Hi
I will put in an rb25/30 in my car later this year but I have never build something like this before, Only regular rb25.
Should I buy a Rips builded bottom or buy a std rb30 and build it myself? My plan was to buy the forged bottom from rips and then do all the other by myself. I think it will hold for more if rips build it?
Whats youre adwises?

I gather you're from Europe and your currency is the Euro? If so you can snap up a bargain already built and shipped over to you from here in Australia.
What other hardware are you looking to include to support your car?

I bought a rips bottom end, its basic, but alot of time and care has been taken when it was machined and assembled (I have since had it freshend up and inspected) Very easy to deal with, its all Nitto gear. They arent cheap 10k nzd not sure what it converts to now, cost me around 8k to get it landed by the time you pay for transport and customs clearence not to mention GST. I was in a rush so freight was air freight and a bit more expensive than a boat.
Im definetly very happy with it, but when you get it, its just a block and internals, nothing else, no oil pump, no rear main seal. Nothing.
Personally next time id just go through either Pro Built engines ( the guy that freshend it up) Or striaght out Matouks, only problem with Anthony is that there is a wait cause he is that good at it. Price was very very similar, Anthony is a bit cheaper.
Ypu would get away with a good set of rods and pistons and good assembly locally to you though, 500rwkw is good power, revs is what will kill the engine though.
