Did Po Tong take out the OZMOD 28x9 record in his Supra with a 7.65 at Nitro Champs?? ---------- Post added 02-05-11 at 20:44 ---------- http://www.ausrotary.com/viewtopic.p...it=rocky+ok%3F (http://www.ausrotary.com/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=204832&hilit=rocky+ok%3F) Just did a little research, he did run a 7.65 run, record on a 28x9 tyre.

I don't have all of his speeds listed for the event so at the very least the mph record has been lifted from 177.46 (M.Lisle) to 182.28 but potentially to 184.83. The ET record was 7.864 (D.McKern) and is now 7.656 as the 7.720 backs it up.

Wasn't the record holder Dyson for his run at Jambo in the Dyson RX3? I thought the 7.68 @ 182mph was the record prior to this overtaking it.

OzMod is different to St289. One is an ANDRA record run to ANDRA rules and the other is an SCG record run to SCG rules.

289 stands for 28x9 tyre size im not sure if the st stands for street but in my understanding the cant have any chassis mods only modify wheel arches etc.
