'88 VL Calais 5L

Just got my VL Calais, 176000 on the clock... ready for some big plans :P Make / Model: Holden / 1988 series 2 VL Calais Colour: Dark Blue over silver Bodykit: Standard Engine Type: 5L V8 Exhaust: Extractors into full 2 1/2 exhaust Gearbox: 3 speed Trimatic Brakes: Standard Suspension: King springs SSL front/back Monroe GT shockers Wheels/Tyres: Standard Calais Interior: Grey Stereo: Alpine CDA-105E head unit Future mods: 355ci :P Anyway here's some pics; Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Very nice. Great to see another 5L VL Calais still around. Can't wait to get mine back on the road and take it for a nice long drive.

Cheers guys... Umm just another update: Put a 650 Holley with vacuum secondarys and new distributor on this weekend. Made a massssssssssive difference compared to the piece of crap Quadrajet Probably going to get the trimatic shift kitted this month as well. Should go good, for a 5Lt lol ---------- Post added 01-08-11 at 20:04 ---------- Some pics of my Calais n my cousins VLt (HARASD) that we decided to take one night... Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
