Hey guys, having trouble thinking of idea on where to place amps, i have one idea. Will be using: mono 4 chan 2X 6.5" 2 ways (which are installed, most likely replacing due to them being 50W) 2x 6x9's (may use 6"s) a sub (most likely in a box) Headunit (need a new one) the previous owner of my vl placed angled pods in the front doors(which look really bad), havnt had the chance to see if there are holes in the doors or not, but i might be able to pick up a nice set of flat spacers (ill decide wen i get there), and the rears have spacers which is fine for the moment, now to the point, one idea i have is for the mono, mount if to the back of the sub box (if i get a box with the sub), but then i have nowhere to place the 4 chan, as i dont want to mount it under the front seats, coz its a big hassle to tune if need be, the only other idea i has was to build an amp rack for both amps, and custom box for sub in the boot, all in one, would be easy to tune, but the only thing im worried about is, will it effect the fronts much if im running cable from the amp in the boot to the front? would it get much interfearance/static? it wouldnt be much trouble to make the sub box and amp rack, would take a day or 2. another thing is im looking for a good quality sound system, nothing too pricey, $1000 would be a rough estimate. If you guys have any ideas let me know, i wont be making any desicions for about another 3-4 week, or till i get some more money haha.(we all know wat thats like). cheers.
