Hey all-ive been polishing up and cleaning up my engine bay.Ive put the car back toegether. It runs and idles but when rev it once it gets past 2000rpm it coughs and splutters and cuts out. Also made a few knocking sounds which i didnt like.My old man reckons it came from the airflow meter? When unplug the AFM the idling of car doesnt change so im guessing its stuffed? Or cold it be somthing else? Also is the AFM off a normal vl the same as a turbo one?? THANKS

100% afm, if you replace the afm and still no good, check the wires in the plug, prodominently the thick orange and thick black ones

If you unplug your afm and car runs the same then your afm is stuffed, if you found a broken wire/fuse in there then lol yes it's stuffed!
