NEEDED.. Hi all My Engineer has asked me for test results for the VT Brake Upgrade.. to get the brakes engineered they have to have had brake test report done on them or from the supplier to say that they meet standered for the RTA to say they are compatible to work on my vl..... THIS IS CRAZY.... THE MOTOR IN MY CAR IS A RB26DETT AND THE RTA ARE HAPPY TO PASS THE CAR WITH VL TURBO BRAKES... has anyone done a test or know of anywhere i can get a copy of a test for a twin piston vt brake upgrade thankyou so much VL2NV ---------- Post added 31-03-11 at 19:18 ---------- anyone..

dunno about nsw but it recently became part of the rwc test in vic so every rwc mechanic should have one (although alot dont). its not a big deal, just ring around a few places

yeh wen u go for a pink slip in nsw they do a brake test so id say take it to a general mechanic if u dnt know anyone.

They did a brake test when I got the pink slip. FOOT BRAKE Peak: 104%G Average: 53%G Pedal: 371N

IMO the test results he is after is not just a brake stop test that they do for RWC. Generally they will LOAD the **** out of your brakes, to test for brake fade and many more factors then just a 1 stop test. (id be looking at test the manufactureres would perform)
