Hello fellow calaisturbo-ers, Just a quick question regarding windscreens. I cant find the answer I'm looking for anywhere on the interwebs. Would a VK windscreen fit (properly) into a VL? I have a '87 VL SL Project, with a VK windscreen just sitting in it, Not fitted. But it just doesnt look right to me. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers fellas.

Maybe ring Holden and ask them if both models had the same screen. If so, you're laughing.

Might have to do just that. I've called Obriens, Instant Windscreens and more, But of course, they have no clue. Cheers Fleas.

I'm pretty sure they are the same but the VK rubber hits the dash on the inside, you could use VT rubber strip and have the mould holes welded up or bogged.

i used the hyundai excel rubbers on mine, has the exact same look as the VL rubber just seals 100x better than your VL rubber would. Also for $150 or so you could get a brand new windscreen with rubbers put in..

I'm a windscreen installer here is new zealand. The VK and VL are 2 different windscreens they will definately not fit the VL. Different curve and width as VK is rubber fit windscreen and VL is eurothane (glue) fitted.
