Holy ****, thats worse than GRK-WPN cutting sub holes in the back seat. Hell, even Roger Cordia would cry at that. How hard is it to pull the wiring and do it properly???? Jeezus people!

Neater way is to cut the wire from under the fuse rail going to that fuse position, and still use the inline fuse.

If you leave bare positive wires dangling on the floor they can earth out and start a fire and burn your carpet... True story

its not that dodgy its actually a good idea i reckon.. but yeah would probably be better to cut the wires from underneath the rail and join them and tape them up instead of soldering it to the little tabs on the rail and leaving it exposed lol

lol thats not your parts car, fly i can tell by the pics, but who cares, it doesnt look dodgy except where the wires are soldered onto the original fuse holder mate, it looks liek it cauld arc out easy on something because there is exposed wires, Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I'm just getting mine rebuilt with NOS parts. I tinkered with the idea of gerry rigging it but CBF and it's too much of a risk to void my insurance if anything happens.

Just saying it gets got because most people put bigger wattage globes in, and the wiring for the lights isn't big enough. This is a good temp fix but in the long run you'd be better upgrading the lot.

i was refering to the first post lol . Mike m's product is good but not available . Could get factory looking one off e bay and add relays for the headlights or if relocating it elsewhere using a Hella fuse holder or similar .

I bought a NOS fuse rail now am getting an auto electrician to rebuild my entire fuse box when the engine is out and bay cleared for spraying. I was lucky that although my fuse melted, my high beams still work. Just can't get to the fuse.
