I'm just thinking you may go backwards rather than forwards.... without the compression/camshaft/inlet manifold/heads etc etc I don't think it would be worthwhile. You can only try give it a go and let us know the results.

You will go backwards, the burn rate of avgas is very slow hence the high octane rating, But match cam and compression ratio and the slow burn rate will work in your favour. By just dumping avgas into your car and driving, your a/f will be incorect. There are also 2 different types of avgas avalible, what one are you planning on using?

Not sure what it is, a mate has a 351 clevo setup for the strip an i was just goin to pour it in an c how it ran but if it has a slower burning rate than normal petrol then your right, its pointless i also got told you need to run better fuel lines because they could melt or some **** ---------- Post added 22-03-11 at 15:35 ---------- Quote: Originally Posted by SHIZNT [View Post] Mite blow an enigne but who gives a **** its a 5L there everywhere Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Its fine with efi cats and 02 sensors, it does not contain any lead or any other substitutes. Also fine with fuel lines. Only alcohol and methanol will screw rubber lines.

100LL avgas has about 1.5cc/L of tetra-ethyl lead in it. The old 100/130 had about 5cc/L.

how is it illegal, you can get a licence to buy it or I can get it through a mate who works at a airport.

You'd be better off converting to E85, or spray it with nitrous... you'll get way more power.
