Fuck yeah, everyone loves Summernats As you can see, even back then the car was cooler than anything else you'll ever own. Shit had like pink paint, yellow plates, big ass chromies n stuff. YES. As you can see it was wearing the VL GOD plates back then, but shit i gotta point out that it wasn't just wearing them, this thing was the original and the best TO ever wear the famous plates, engineered by Anthony Maatouk to his exacting specs and the very car from which his rep' was built on. Running 9.50 with an auto and then 10.3 with a manual, the car shunned many non-believers who spent their time talking crap online. Pretty much I was one of them So for a half decade or so not much happened. Pluto was declared no longer to be a planet (tough break) and oh yeah Anthony Maatouk went on to be the biggest boss man around During this dull period the car was sold off and not heard from for a bunch of years, which was a shame cos seriously, look how sick it is Then after cruising the gong with like a million other VLTs on the biggest cruise ever, a bunch of bros were hanging out at Maatouks after and a bro by the name of Chris ended up being talked into buying the car. The year was like 2007 or 2008. As you can see he made it even more hectic, jazzing up the car with sweet white walls, fancy trim and a new set of plates. He did a bit of this too, proving that although it's a street car at heart it could still go fast But mainly this car is best at looking sweet, impressing lady folk etc It's even been in a magazine, ZOOM Magazine. Everyone knows chicks LOVE magazines. In the above study it came a respectable second in impressing ladies to the Millenium falcon which lets face it, sets an impossibly high benchmark So there you have it. The story of NXT UP. But you're probably sitting there being all like wtf does this mean to me bro? See, not even stupid plates or ugly wheels could ruin the appeal of this truly iconic car: It's an incredibly versatile car and would look as good tearing up Chaps in sunny Melbs as it would coasting Cavill Ave in Queensland, gating it up Adelaide's Rundle St Mall or doing whatever it is VL Turbos do in Perth...
